GAME OVER! Canada, in their first game of the preliminary round and first World Para Hockey Championship game on home ice, downs Korea 15-1. Canada outshot the Koreans 42-6.
Dominic Cozzolino finished the night with eight points, including four goals. Tyler McGregor, who recorded his 200th point wearing the Maple Leaf, had five points including two goals, one of which was the opener. Adam Dixon and James Dunn also recorded five points on the night.
It was a historical night on other fronts as well as 20-year-old Raphaëlle Tousignant made her international debut and became the first woman to play for Canada's Para Hockey Team at an international event. Cozzolino also recorded his 100th point wearing the Maple Leaf.
Canada returns to action tomorrow night, taking on Czechia at 7 p.m. MT at the Moose Jaw Events Centre in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the 2023 World Para Ice Hockey Championship preliminary match between Canada and Korea in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
Coming into tonight's game, two players (Tyler McGregor and Dominic Cozzolino) are nearing major milestones with Canada’s National Para Hockey Team. After recording two points in Canada’s exhibition win, captain McGregor is one point from 200 career points wearing the Maple Leaf (he’ll be the fifth Canadian to reach the mark). Meanwhile, Cozzolino sits six points away from 100 for his career.
