Fifteen players – representing seven Members – have been named to the roster for the 2025 IIHF World Championship, May 9-25 in Stockholm, Sweden, and Herning, Denmark.
Dean Evason will lead Canada as head coach at Men’s Worlds, alongside Andrew Brunette, Ryan Huska and Steve McCarthy.
Kyle Dubas will lead Canada’s National Men’s Team as general manager at the 2025 IIHF World Championship.
Daniel Carr scored twice and Colten Ellis made 40 saves, but Canada fell 4-2 to Straubing in its Spengler Cup semifinal.
Three returnees are among the 26 players who will wear the Maple Leaf with Team Canada beginning Boxing Day in Davos.
