2025 U17 World Challenge

The future stars of the game are coming to Truro when it hosts the 2025 U17 World Challenge, Oct. 31-Nov. 8 at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre.
A total of 119 players at the U17 and U18 levels have earned invites to Program of Excellence summer camps in July.
Turcotte will lead Canada at the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, while Barney and McDonald will work with the under-17 teams.
Mike Johnston, Yanick Lemay and Mark Hunter will lead Canada’s U17, U18 and U20 programs in the 2025-26 season.
From No. 1 to No. 222, the 2025 NHL Draft was all about Canadian hockey – 85 players representing 10 Members.
Long-time junior hockey executive Alan Millar will serve as the first general manager of the Program of Excellence.
Truro, Mount Pearl, Conception Bay South and Trois-Rivières will host national and international events next fall.
Development Camp

Héroux scored a pair of goals as Black wrapped up camp with a win.

Joseph piled up 4G 1A as Gold routed White in its final camp game.

Berthiaume posted a 26-save shutout to help Black blank White.

Gold used a five-goal third period to earn its second win at camp.

Joseph recorded a hat trick and an assist to lead Gold to the victory.
