Game Story

Kevin Sorley (Petersburg, Ont.) scored a pair of goals, Anthony Culmone (Mississauga, Ont.) added two of his own – all in a four-goal first period – and Red rode a dominant opening frame to a 5-0 win over Japan on Thursday afternoon at Canada’s National Para Hockey Team selection camp. Auren Halbert (Calgary, Alta.) capped the scoring in the final minute of the third period and Adam Kingsmill (Smithers, B.C.) earned a five-save shutout for Red, which held a 28-5 edge in shots – including 16-2 in the first 15 minutes.
