2004 National U18 Club Championship

WEST 4 - CENTRAL 3

April 23, 2004
Kenora, ON

With a Brandon win, they could secure the third spot in the standings. Toronto would also need a win to stay in contention for a spot in Saturday’s semi-finals. After Brandon opened the scoring in the first, Toronto responded with three goals in a span of less than three minutes to give themselves a 3-1 lead. Brandon replied with two more goals in the second by Tyler Dittmer to tie things up at 3-3. The third period was dominated by Brandon outshooting Toronto 11-5. Brandon’s Tyler Dittmer scored his third goal to record the first hat-trick of the tournament, and give the Wheaties a 4-3 victory. Brandon finishes the round robin with a 2-2-1 record, which is good enough for third place and a spot in Saturday’s semi-final. Toronto finishes with a 1-4 record, which ties them with Cornwall for fifth spot.
